Through my own personal experience, I realized how difficult divorce can be. When you get married, you believe it will last forever; however, this is not true in many cases. It took me several months to get through the ups and downs that come with getting a divorce, but with the help of family and friends I finally got through it.
During my divorce I did not use an attorney, as I was simply not in a position to pay anyone a huge retainer. I looked at all my options, and found out that the courts provide assistance to people getting a divorce, so I used this option. It cost me less than nothing, but it took a long time and a lot of patience to complete the divorce, and I have a BA in Administration of Justice plus a paralegal certificate. After my own divorce, I realized that with my experience as a paralegal, I could assist others going through a divorce and help them achieve am amicable divorce that is safe, easy and affordable. Most people do not have the time, nor the inclination to deal with the court system, especially during a time of divorce when emotions are running high and many are still trying to raise their children go to work and just maintain their daily lifestyle.
